My cousin recently had a baby, and a friend and I threw her a really cute baby shower. I thought I’d go ahead and share some photos with you guys for inspiration. I was responsible for food, cake, cupcakes, invitations and making a bajillion bow ties. Our friend covered all the rest of the decoration, and she did a fantastic job! Check it out!
We had vanilla cupcakes and a chocolate mustache cake, pasta salad, tons of sandwiches, a fe varieties of candy and chocolate mustaches.
Photo booth area!
Party favors of chocolate cigars, bubblegum cigars and bath bombs.
That bowl also had stick on mustaches. The grandmas looked quite dapper at the shower. (This was also a game — everyone started with one bow tie and if you said the word “baby” someone else could take your bow tie. I added very tiny clothes pins to the bow ties for easy removal. Whoever had the most at the end of the shower won.)
This was the game station! She had diapers set out for people to write notes on and a bottle of Hershey’s kisses where people guessed how many were in the bottle. As far as baby shower games go, these were amusing and not too crazy (which was nice).
And a variety of different size onesies provided extra decor.
Overall, it was really beautiful and fun shower. We had a ton of folks show up, but I think everyone had a good time and it looked great.
